Remember New Years Resolutions?

I feel like one big trouble with New Years Resolutions, why they aren't often kept, is that it's so easy to forget about them. Once a couple weeks of January pass, people are too carried away with getting back into work routines that resolutions go out of vogue and old habits settle back in. So now that more than a month has passed, I'm going to check in and see how I'm doing on them.

1. Get into Graduate School.
Check! I did get into a graduate school, so regardless of what happens that's what I'll be doing next fall. I'm still waiting to hear back from some schools and scheduled to interview some over the next few weeks. But either way, I did it!

2. Remember that awesome building called the gym
Unfortunately I'm still in a slump. I still have no energy or motivation here….and by not working out, getting energy and motivation is becoming harder. I just made an impulse purchase of the wii fit. I'm hoping that it'll help me get some of the spring in my step back and that the inertia will carry me back to the gym.

3. Blog like a Champion
I'm still blogging regularly and having fun. I'd really like to 'get out there' a bit more, and increase my traffic beyond people who know me. So, I hope to start reading and commenting on more blogs to fuel the fire.

4. Do Good
Though I feel like I can always do more good, and shouldn't cross this one off completely yet, I did start West Philly Tutoring Project and have really enjoyed it so far.

5. Have an amazing last semester at Penn
So far, so good. No big drama or stress, and lots of Feb Club style fun. Just gotta continue the momentum into March.

6. Take more pictures
I have at Feb Club events, but should work on bringing my camera out more during other small time fun events.

7. Get a place of my own
This will be a Fall goal. Stay tuned.

Looking back I feel like I'm off to a pretty good start and have strategies for tackling them all. Did you make any new years resolutions? How are you doing? Let's hold each other accountable this year!
